Waikato River Works
MAP Projects was engaged by Hamilton City Council to complete 3 portions of work on the Waikato River in November 2020
Portion one consisted of the manufacture and install of a steel log deflector to protect Hamilton East bulk water main from river debris. 2x 17m piles were driven from a floating crane into the riverbed to secure the structure. Kaituna River Re-Diversion
MAP was engaged by JSwap Contactors to complete the structures work on the Kaituna River Diversion near Maketu, Bay of Plenty. This involved a large box culvert bridge structure through a body of water, concrete boat ramp, and timber jetties.

Kotuku Dam Hopua te Nihotetea
MAP expertise in the Water and Hydro Projects saw us awarded the Kotuku Street Storm water Detention Dam in Whangarei for the Northland Regional Council. This project included the installation and concrete encasement of a 2100mm Service Spillway (Concrete Pipe). Ila Place Waste Water Treatment Tanks Upgrade
This 2014 – 2015 Project for Tauranga City Council consisted of the supply and installation of three 2. 5m diameter by 29m fibreglass tanks, 240 m of sewer pipes and installation of eight concrete manholes, which showed MAPs temporary works design and sheetpile capabilities.
